- Types of visual representation

,  par Hervé BERNARD dit RVB

There is different types of representation of an idea. Some are simeless to something-someone and some are abstract. The second one is a representation but not a figuration, not a depiction. The first one is a figuration, a depiction. This Martin Reyna’s painting is both a depiction (there is a tree) but in the same time, it is also an abstraction (no background).

I made also an observation ; Most part of the time, when it is an abstraction, most people find a simeless or try to find one and even if is difficult, they find. It seems occidental people have an attraction for abstraction.
