“Il était une fois dans les Tuileries / Once upon a time in the Tuileries” is a 4-minute 27-seconds artistic video animation. Through the theme of living together, this film portrays hubris -the desire for power that leads this woman to believe that, like an orchestra conductor, she can direct and control everything, and that her power is limitless. However, events contradict this, as everything spirals out of control.

“Il était une fois dans les Tuileries / Once upon a time in the Tuileries” also explores the relationship between music and image. In this sense, it is a tribute to the collaboration between Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone. Through my images of the Tuileries Garden and Dean Whitbread’s music, we have managed to recreate this link. This film also belongs to Hommage à... / Inventaire...
